Ice Skating!

Winter has inspired learning all sorts of new things...ice skating being one of them. Nick took Stella one afternoon and I must say, after one outing, she did really well!!

Ready for the Disney on Ice Princess show! ...Stella keeps informing us that she's a "big girl" which translates to selecting her own clothes and dressing herself. We get some pretty interesting outfits these days. Oh, our independent girl!

Nerdy?

Ok, so sometimes I'm at a real loss of what to sing to my children. We do lots of nursery rhymes, songs from preschool, Bible study, Disney movies...even Christmas carols in the middle of summer. Stella often wants to hear "something new." Well, bring on a different version of the ABCs...apparently if you sing it enough, whatever it is, they'll pick it up.

Now that we're 2 months into 2011, I thought I'd catch up on the blog a bit. Not only because I'm behind, but also because we're going to be welcoming a new family member soon and who knows how much time I'll have to add photos and keep this thing updated!?!?

I will try though, I will try.

We enjoyed a "wild" New Years Eve at our country club, Worthington Hills, where they threw a WONDERFULLY fabulous family friendly party, complete with balloon drop at "midnight"/7pm. It was great.
