11 Months Old!!

We've been trying to put video up of our little one walking, but either the file is too big, or the blog isn't liking us, or...who knows??? We'll continue to work on it.
For now you can enjoy a few photos of our now 11 month old babe! She's walking and babbling and understanding what we say more and more.

Don't you just love how she "organizes" her room?

The biggest change these days is that she's taking a sippy cup 100% of the time she has milk! No more nursing, no more bottles! It's a big change, but she took to it really well. I'm leaving town at the beginning of February for a few days, so we didn't want her to be dependent on mommy anymore. So, she's a big girl now and drinks from her own cup!
We've also been able to find a couple of WONDERFUL baby-sitters!! Nick and I are so glad to have found people who we can trust to watch Stella while we get a little time away to ourselves. One of the best parts (besides being super reliable, great girls) is that one of them only charges $4 per hour!! That is AMAZING!!! I made more than that 15 years ago when I baby-sat. Who knows when her rates will change, but we'll take what we can get for now!
We got to finally check out a church here in Columbus yesterday morning. It was wonderful to just be in a church environment again as it had been quite a while. (Stella's AM nap is basically 9AM-11:30AM...right in the middle of most church services) Anyway, we're not sure if that is "the one," but we'll definitely go back. If any of you know of or have church recommendations in the Columbus area for us, we'd love to know about them. We're always open to suggestions.
Ok, so the countdown is officially on to Stella's ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY!! So far we don't have anything extravagant planned. But, Grandma and Grandpa Freeman are flying in for it and we're very excited about that. We may have a family party the weekend after her birthday or we might just eat cake all week long! Who knows!? All I know for sure is that it's great fun being a parent and we look forward to what the next year will bring!!
