Road Trip!!

Yesterday morning, I woke up with a text message on my phone from our friends, Josh & Betsy...
Besty was in the hospital and just gave birth to a baby boy! Joshua Bowyer Deeter (Bo) was born Wednesday, January 30. Both mom and baby are happy and healthy!
All of us were super excited about their news and Stella and I decided we had to meet the new addition to their family. So, we packed up our gear for a day trip to Cincinnati! It was fun. We spent about a hour at the hospital ooohhing and aaahhing over this precious babe. Then we made a stop at my old office to visit some former co-workers and then hopped back in the car to go home. I'm so glad we made the trip. Stella (as usual) was an excellent traveler, napping both ways in the car.
Normally I'm not quite that spontaneous. But, we decided that it was either take the trip yesterday or wait until March to meet baby Bo. Our February is booked (and we're so excited about that), but we just had to meet this new babe right away. Here's a couple of photos:

technically only "family babies" were supposed to be in the room, but we sneaked Stella over to meet her new friend and get a picture of them together!

Feb. 1-3 Mike & Gail in town
Feb. 4 Nick's birthday
Feb. 6-10 Liz to Captiva Island, FL for Kerry's birthday!!!
Feb. 15-18 Amanda, JP & Bella in town
Feb. 20-24 Liz's mom and dad in town
plus Stella's first birthday on the 21st
plus the Vandertill's staying with us to celebrate the weekend of the 23rd
plus Cathy, Kevin, Courtney, Jack, Karen, Larry, Robert & Judie coming for the birthday celebration!
