"Official" Update

I realize that most of our blog readers and interested in what's going on in Stella's life. So, without further ado, I give you, STELLA!!!
She's about to be 16 months old, dancing is her favorite activity and she requests that music be turned on as often as possible, she nods emphatically to the things she wants, is firm about saying no to those things she does not, she says "more" to any sort of bread product offered to her and then will nod "yes" with eyes wide open and eyebrows raised in an attempt to convince you how serious she is, she's learning new words all the time...fish, hi, more, baby, blueberry, banana, melon, cheese, wow, mama, dada, book, meow, bubble are just a few that we hear on a regular basis...I'm sure there are plenty more that I'm forgetting.
Anyway, we're still very busy...we spent another week away from the construction at our house and went to Grandma and Grandpa's. It was a wonderful time bonding with them! Then we spent the weekend at their lake cottage, playing in the sand and water, swinging, taking walks and mostly importantly...celebrating Father's Day with Daddy!
We are VERY happy to be home once again. We spent today at the zoo, will be joining our neighbors for a walk tomorrow and will be at the library on Thursday. The best part of being back home...SLEEP! Stella is obviously thrilled to be back in a more familiar environment. Night-time sleep has never been compromised, but naps have been less than impressive while on the road. Since we've been home, she's been napping about 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon and wakes up a VERY happy, little girl...which makes for an extra happy mommy!
