"Hi Ava!"

Our WONDERFUL friends, Katie and Ava drove up from Cincinnati on Wednesday to visit with us for a few hours. Almost immediately after Ava was out of her car seat and situated comfortably on the Cheerio blanket, Stella decided to join her as it appeared to be a great place to lay down and relax for a bit. Their visit was filled with sharing teddy bears, an enjoyable lunch, dual naps, and infinite greetings from Stella waving her hand in Ava's face saying, "Hi Ava!"
Thanks again for making the trip up...it means so much to us to have friends who are so thoughtful and take time out of their day to see us. Can't wait to see you again this coming weekend!

Getting so big, so fast!--Ava was born 8/3/08!

After Ava's visit, we continued a full week of activity. Between music class, Bible study, trips to the gym, furniture deliveries and playdates at friends' houses, Stella and Nick joined me at my 12 week check-up where we got to see another ultrasound and a fantastic picture of baby! We saw a clear profile...little nose and lips and arms and legs. It's such a miracle to see a REAL baby after only a few weeks of life. Just perfect! We are so thankful for good health and good care. We continue to pray that baby develops well and for my safety as I carry this precious life.

This was our last week of enjoying warm fall weather. Stella decided it was the perfect season to model her new, hot pink vest from her Great Aunt Margaret! Check out that fur hood...high fashion! WOW!

Note the hand in the pocket, model walk...she's got it going on!

So now are we once again returning to "normal"...whatever that is!? Nope! We are preparing to have Uncle Kai stay with us a few nights this week, we leave for Cincinnati on Friday to spend a weekend with friends, who are helping me celebrate and say "goodbye" to my 20s. Then, bright and early, Monday morning, we leave for a week long trip to Palm Springs, CA! We are spending Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Freeman, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Christianson, Uncle Jimmy, Great Aunt Ann and Great Uncle Jeff, cousin Kelly...and hopefully other relatives who decide to surprise us. ;) We are really looking forward to some time in the sunshine.
If we don't blog before we go, have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Make sure you take the time to let those you love the most know just how thankful you are for them. Much love!
