Last weekend, we had Aunt Kim, Uncle Jon, and cousins Jim, Ben, Tom and Mike wrap up their spring break by staying with us Friday night. Their arrival was filled with with running around outside, playing play-doh in the yard, taking time to catch up, lasar tag, big family meals, and lots of inquiries about what we're going to name baby Miesen.
Grandma and Grandpa Bettcher arrived on Saturday morning with Jane, shortly followed by Aunt Cathy, Uncle Kevin and cousin Courtney to caravan up to cousin Jack's lacrosse game. It was a gorgeous day with fabulous company (although we were missing the Monahans a lot).
We're headed out of town, once again, this weekend, to Vermilion, OH to escape the kitchen rehab, to spend more time with family, to be close to Nick while he has business in Cleveland and to support the 1st Annual Emily's Rainbow Run .
On Monday, my mom is coming to visit for 5 days!! We're thrilled to get to see Grandma Freeman one more time before baby arrives. She and Stella have all sorts of plans to eat ice cream and play at the park. I wonder what I'll do with all of my spare time!? ;)
There's a rumor that Aunt Kerry and cousin Ellen may visit at the end of next week and then we get to welcome Tim, Emily, Henry and baby Beckman to our house the following week for a one night visit.
We're so happy to get to see and do so much before life changes in a major way around here. 4 1/2 weeks and counting!!
