It's also wonderful to look back on all that we've been able to do in our last year as "just the two of us."
Some of our 2006 travels since we've been planning for the baby's arrival:
-Wedding in Cleveland (6/06)
-Trip to Indy...to learn about parenting from Adam and Katie! (7/06)
-A visit to the Vandertill's in Chagrin Falls (8/06)
-Trip to CT/MA (8/06)
-Labor Day in Canada with Deeters (9/06)
-Wedding in Bolivar, MO (9/06)
-Liz to NYC for Kim's 40th! (10/06)
-Baby Shower in MN (10/06)
-Palm Springs, CA for Thanksgiving (11/06)
-Camp Boggy Creek for 10 Year Birthday
Celebration (12/06)
-Huron/Vermilion, OH & Washington
D.C./Virginia for Christmas (12/06)
It's been a busy year and we're so thankful that we were able to see so many friends and visit with so many loved ones as the "big day" approaches!
As we reminisce, it is necessary to look forward as well.
We are going to weekly doctor appointments now, and we are certain that prayers are constantly being answered as the reports continue to be good. The doctor has been pleased with how Liz is feeling and how the baby is progressing. We've been trying to guess when this little one will arrive and so far the doctor has warned us that first time moms often deliver late. (why then do we keep hearing stories about women who delivered a week early or 10 days ahead of schedule!?) ;) As far as we can tell, we're sticking to the due date originally estimated as February 19, 2007. Obviously it's in God's hands and we're confident that He has a plan for us and our new family. Our on-going prayer request is for continued good health for mom and baby. The next MD visit is on Wednesday, January 31--next update to come then!!

Liz and Nick,
What a year you've had! I'm so glad to hear that things have gone okay so far. Clearly, your little one is smart, beautiful, kind, and athletic based off of the picture. I'm thinking of you both and can't wait to see the whole family! Hopefully sooner than later.
Take care,
Julie R.
Hi guys! Glad everything is going well and that you liked the outfits. I can't wait to see which one will be worn! What a great surprise that will be! Take care. Bananie
