We have a 3 year old living in our house! She's busy, interested, opinionated, curious, able to climb, jump, dance, ask, eat, dress up, sing, talk...and all of this happens before noon! ;) Stella continues to keep us on our toes. She's a delight. She can spell her first and last name, she knows our phone number and address. She's really into rhyming right now and loves to "rock out" to her music in the basement. (Yes, I'm already having debates about volume of music with our 3 year old. )
She and Charlie are growing closer and closer each day. They light up when they see each other and he will go looking for her if she's not in the same room.
They're growing like weeds as well. Newest check-up stats (especially for the Grandmas)...
At 3 years of age, Stella is 31 pounds (52nd percentile), 38 3/4 inches (85%).
At almost 9 months, Charlie is 21 pounds (60th percentile), 29 1/4 in. (84%).
She went through a 3 day phase of needing to wear her ballerina outfit over her pjs to bed. She even slept with the slippers on.
Aunt Kim...this gift is still a hit, even a year later!
Grandma Bettcher came for an early birthday celebration the weekend before Stella turned 3. She enjoyed an extended stay as we were all snowed in.
We loved having her here.
Come back soon and bring Grandpa Bettcher too!
The gifts overflowed from generous family and friends.
They keep arriving too...the UPS man was just here 5 minutes ago!!

Happy Happy Birthday, Stella! Looks like you had a great celebration...how is being 3 years old? I'm almost there! I hope to see you soon, and we can celebrate being 3 together! Love, Henry
