This past week was dubbed "BIRTHDAY WEEK" as we spent everyday celebrating Nick turning 31. Monday night he and I had a date night out together for dinner and a movie. Tuesday, Nick enjoyed dinner at Skippers Pub on his old stomping grounds (Miami University) with niece, Lindsay. Wednesday, I prepared a favorite...chicken and cheese enchiladas. Thursday morning we had a family breakfast birthday party. Thursday evening we celebrate out with Nick's co-workers. Friday (Gail's birthday), we welcomed Mike, Gail and Kyle to town. Saturday night we went out for our 4th annual dual birthday celebration. And now on Sunday they scheduled the Superbowl to continue the festivities!
We are exhausted from all of the fun!
But seriously, this is often how I'm finding Charlie falling asleep.
It's as if he just passes out sitting up.
February 5th we had a BEAUTIFUL snowfall that totaled about 8 inches.
The kids LOVE playing in it.
Despite the iffy weather, our DEAR friends, Mike, Gail & Kyle braved the forecast to drive up from Cincinnati to spend the weekend celebrating Gail and Nick's birthdays together.
We snuggled, ate, played in the snow, ate more, went out without the kids and just enjoyed LOTS of quality birthday time together!
Next...preparing for Stella's 3rd birthday in 2 short weeks!!!
